At The Tutoring Center®, we overcome every obstacle faced in small group instruction by creating a one-to-one learning environment and supplying the attention students need and then giving them the tools that foster confidence, necessary for long-term academic success.
A key to our success, The Rotational Approach To Learning® was first developed with the goal of helping children with attentional, behavioral and learning disabilities like ADD and ADHD. Research has shown that all students who learned in 30- and two 15-minute increments in different locations with different sets of materials and two instructors dramatically maximized their academic performance and concentration. With The Rotational Approach To Learning®, children achieve long-term success, build concentration and focus, and, with our outstanding instructors, find the love of learning.
Our experience—and likely yours as well—is that home-tutoring, while convenient, results in poor progress and meager results. Simply by being at home, kids mentally shift into an out-of-school mindset that makes motivation and concentration difficult. Distractions abound.
